Participating in the Summer Academy Copy

Information for the participants
The Summer Academy is for singers and instrumentalists. The professional participants and students (which can include duos or ensembles) will each receive 3 lessons in a masterclass format with their specialist tutor, emphasizing aspects and techniques of historical performance practice. Each day will commence with a Zen session with Zen master Bruno von Nünlist, to which all students are welcome to attend but which is obligatory for the singers. Afternoons will be devoted to different workshops on chamber music, song and opera.

Amateur participants will receive 2 lessons in a masterclass setting with one of the tutors, and are free to attend any of the workshops. There is also the opportunity to join the Academy Choir, which will perform in 2 or 3 concerts, including the Opera class presentation and the final concert.

Everybody has more than one opportunity to present themselves in a concert performance!
